Meet The Visionary

Tammy stone

Elder Tammy Stone is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life reflects resilience, faith, and the determination to rise above every obstacle placed in her path. Born in Savannah, Georgia, she spent her early childhood in the care of her great-grandmother, a woman whose wisdom, strength, and quiet sacrifices became the foundation of everything Tammy would later become. After relocating to Boston, Massachusetts as a teenager, life introduced her to challenges that forced her to grow up quickly, make hard decisions, and discover her own inner strength.

Tammy is an elder in her church and a devoted servant of God. She is the owner of several businesses including Xscape Hair Studio, a company she has operated since 1998 alongside her daughter. She is also the creator and host of Tee Time with Tammy, a weekly Facebook Live show designed to give others a platform to share their stories, promote their businesses, and spread hope to those who need it. In addition to her entrepreneurial work, she is known for her passion for baking, a gift she uses to bless her community.

Everything Tammy does reflects the lessons seeded into her life by her great-grandmother. Her story is one of faith, survival, motherhood, and the continual search for love and understanding. Today she stands as a testament that with God, perseverance, and courage, broken beginnings can still lead to beautiful outcomes.
